Two hundred of the things, to be exact! The weird thing is I had logged in to Cracked with the intention of SUGGESTING this Photoplasty topic, using my winning entry as an example and effectively nullifying it. But they had put it up that same day, so I just threw together a little picture and the rest is history. :D

Aren't the suburbs where the space is? The advantage of a $200 beater is that it's a temporary fixture. See what it takes to kill it, then you can scrap it for pretty much the same money. Is streetside parking allowed in your area? It's kind of fun to see the look on your neighbor's faces when they think that their property value's about to plummet.

Not legally, though. The HOA of my neighborhood actually forced someone to scrap his Celica (second-to-last generation, luckily. Not a classic) because it was sitting in his driveway without taillights for a week. I mean, the guy two houses down from me has two unfinished VW bugs in his driveway along with three other cars and another one on the street, but he's president of the HOA so he's immune to his own rules.

Technically there's space, but see my reply to Funktheduck. Streetside parking is technically illegal, but everyone does it, so that could be an option... Except I'm in a cul-de-sac, meaning everyone's property is shaped almost like a triangle and there's no room between driveways.
